The Russian-Canadian Intergovernmental Economic Commission was established on the basis of the agreement on bilateral economic relations between the Government of Russian Federation and the Government of Canada signed in 1993.
The Chairman of the Russian part of the Commission - Mr.A.Gordeev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Minister for Agriculture of the Russian Federation. The Chairman of the Canadian part of the Commission - Mr.D.Emerson, Minister for international trade of Canada. The Russian-Canadian Intergovernmental Economic Commission has been established by the Governments of Russia and Canada to assist in the development of the economic relationship. It will hold regular consultations on trade issues and investment between the two states.Goals of the commission include: |
