The investment agreement between the Government of the Yaroslavl region and Co Ltd «Inter-hotel» was signed
This agreement launches the new stage in the construction of the Marriott hotel, started in 2007. Last year at the construction site the archaeological research was made on the initiative of the RAS Institute of archaeology. The project was considerably improved subject to the public opinion and the new requirements of the regional government.

On the 20-th June the Governor of the Yaroslavl region Sergey Vakhrukov took part in the session of the State Council Presidium in Ivanovo headed by the President of the Russian Federation Dmitri Medvedev. The agenda was the development of the state programme for textile industry renovation. The Governor of the Yaroslavl region is in the working group preparing proposals on behalf of the Yaroslavl region for the draft decision.

Administration of the Yaroslavl region welcomes the decision of the Japanese company Komatsu Group to select Yaroslavl region as the place for its first in Russia assembly plant construction. The second in the world industrial machinery manufacturer is planning to invest 60 mln. USD in the assembly plant construction in Yaroslavl.

Cooperation Agreement on realization of the investment project designed for building a Marriott hotel in the city of Yaroslavl was signed on June 15th, 2007, between the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Mr. Anatoly Lisitzyn, Major of the city of Yaroslavl Mr. Victor Volonchunas and president of the company “Interhotel” Mr. Ruslan Glyantzev.

VELUX invests 29 million Euros in building of a new plant in the Yaroslavl Region
Agreement on Intentions and Agreement on cooperation regarding realization of the investment project have been signed between Administration of the Yaroslavl Region, Administration of Rostov Municipal region and JSC “MD-RUS” – part of the VELUX Company Group. The signing of the agreements took place on May 30th, 2007 at the Yaroslavl Region Administration.
